Join us again this year in Central Illinois, October 18-20, for the 2013 Reformation Day Faire! This year, we go back in time, even before the days of the Reformation, to consider the work of the men who were arguably the first reformers, Patrick of Ireland, Columba of Scotland, and Aidan of Northumbria, men who disagreed with many of the practices and doctrines of Rome, and who were used of God to bring the light of the Gospel into dark lands.
Dr. R.C. Sproul, Jr.
Dr. R.C. Sproul, Jr. teaches at Reformation Bible College in Sanford, Florida where he also serves as a teaching fellow for Ligonier Ministries. He is the founder of Highlands Ministries and former editor of Tabletalk magazine.Dr. Sproul is the author or editor of more than a dozen books, the most recent of which are The Call to Wonder; Believing God; Bound for Glory; After Darkness, Light: Essays in Honor of R. C. Sproul; and When You Rise Up: A Covenantal Approach to Homeschooling.
Rev. James McDonald
James is pastor of Providence Church (CPC) in Morton, Illinois, husband to Stacy, and father to 10 blessings. James is a nationally known conference speaker and author who seeks to see Christians strengthened through preaching and the written word. He enjoys giving historical impersonations that tie into his love for theology, history, and family.
Dr. Marcus Serven
Dr. Marcus J. Serven has been a Presbyterian minister since 1980 and serves as the presiding pastor of Covenant Family Church (RPCGA). He and his wife Cheryl are blessed with nine children, four of whom are now married, and with four grandchildren. The Servens are dedicated home-educators and have done so for twenty-eight years.

Charlie Zahm is one of the most popular soloists at Celtic music festivals, Maritime and Early American music events anywhere east of the Mississippi. With a baritone voice some have described as “coming along once in a generation,” Charlie has become one of the most successful performers on the Celtic festival circuit, weaving magical moments of Scottish and Irish history for the listener and viewer, with passion for the performance and a chosen repertoire pleasing to all members of the family.

Our goal is to put on a quality family event at the lowest possible price. The price for this weekend event is only $70/family or $30/person through September 15, 2013. For those who register after the due date, the cost will be $85/family or $40/person. Your registration includes the entire program and dinner Saturday evening. For those who just want to attend the Friday concert, the cost is $25/family or $10/person.
Mikes Knot Just Ribs, Peoria’s premier caterer, will provide grilled meats for Saturday’s lunch at very reasonable prices. Prepared onsite for your pleasure: chicken, pork chops, rib eye, bratwurst and more (chips and drinks will also be available)! Saturday evening, the ladies of Providence will prepare a hot dinner for all paid attendees. There are also a number of quality restaurants nearby for other meals.
Registration is limited, so register early through our registration website (refday2013.eventbrite.com) or by calling our office at 309-387-2600. Please note that registration requires payment in full. Note – children must be accompanied by an adult.
On hotels, we have negotiated a special rate at the Stoney Creek Inn, East Peoria – $89 per night. Just mention the Providence Reformation Day Faire when you make your reservation!
Cancellation Policy: Fifty percent of the registration fee is refundable if cancellation occurs on or before August 31, 2013. Refunds are not available for cancellations occurring on or after September 1, 2013. Thank you for understanding.
